PLAYING TIMES

REPRODUCTION (USING OLD STAMPERS)

We can archive your stampers up to 4 years for reproductions.
This way you will save the stamper cost (3.000 DKK) on your order, if you wish to reissue your production.

“Note: we only reproduce from our own stampers”

TESTPRESSINGS

We always recommend making a testpress to guarantee the quality of your upcoming release.
We are using top of the line machinery, so if you deliver a good vinyl master there should not be any issues regarding the quality.
Though, it is an analogue media, and therefore very sensitive, errors can sometimes occur. If there is a production problem with the stamper, we will notice this before we begin pressing your vinyl records. In that case, we will reproduce a new pair of stampers, free of charge of course, though this can potentially add on extra delivery time. We will give notice as soon as any problem arise.

33 OR 45 RPM?

RPM stands for revolutions/rounds per minute and this refers to the speed of your turntable. 45 RPM does have the best quality. However, it comes with the limitation of not being able to fit as many minutes as 33 RPM onto each side.

See the topic Playing Times for more info.

VINYL COMPOUND

Here at RPM Records we are using 100% Virgin Vinyl Record Compound.
This insures a uniform production with the most audiophile sound and lowers the background noise to a minimum.

COPYRIGHT BUREAU

Every release needs to be registered at your countries copyright bureau.
They need to send us the approval of your music before we can start production.
In Scandinavia, you need to contact NCB and chose RPM Records as your manufacturer.

ARTWORK

The artwork should be uploaded in a .zip and .pdf format including an InDesign file in your Dropbox folder named your order number.
